Sorry folks for last week, been busy in the Lab working on new material, 2010 is indeed going to be a big year!
Working on the revised Mixtape Volume 3, promo mixes, and most importantly the Blaps (beats). Can’t preview anything right know cause its either under wraps or not done, but hope to have some stuff for you all pretty soon!

On September 31st 2009, good Samaritan Mary Strey called 911 to report a drunk driver she noticed on the streets. Unfortunately she was the drunk driver!
George Clinton and the P funk all stars! My man Rev Shines opened up the night, killing it with a vast assortment of funk cuts, including Portland’s own Pleasure!
P funk got on stage at around 10 and George followed about an hour later. I was really impressed with average age of the whole crew. They were seasoned vets indeed.
What did strike me was how many members there were and only one tour bus (with trailer).
I counted 5 band members, 3 backup singers, 2 characters, George, and support crew of at least 5 folks. How does anyone get paid? Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad they performed, but that was a traveling village!
Tonight January 18th at the Crystal Ballroom, Portland Oregon! Anyone in the Portland area should come check this out, actually just the opening act! This should be interesting…

Okay so we are into the second week of the new year (technically third), how about those resolutions! Is everything coming back down to reality? Most of you have the will power to have genuinely changed or at least hold on for a little longer. Me, no! I want to move forward and in order to do so I must admit defeat. Until next year… that does feel a lot better!

I forgot all about this clip! I did beats on a record for a local MC (L-Pro) a couple of years ago and we got a movie placement! A lesbian romantic comedy!! The movie is called Red Doors and our song is during the high school dance performance (about 1 min in). The rest of the clip is garbage.

I thought they changed their name to the Washington Wizards? Yet their man Gilbert Arenas defies all, even time. He has an $111 million contract yet feels the need to take three guns to the Verizon Center. Over a card game? What was the bet, family members? PRP guy (please remember Plaxico)! Didn’t Delonte West have three guns on him as well when he was pulled over on his Bat Bike this summer? Coincidence or conspiracy?
What happens on New Years eve? Family’s have neighborhood parties , friends get together, and kids get to stay up late. But what about to the folks that “go out”. The night starts with high spirits and most are in a celebratory mood. Reminiscing about the good times and how excellent this new year is going to be. Then at about 12:01 a regression begins.
So vinyl is the new black? It has become the ultimate hipster accessory, vintage and very noticeable.
